1. Seljalandsfoss

Seljalandsfoss waterfall is the very first waterfall you will see when you are driving on the Icelandic South Coast from Reykjavík. This majestic waterfall, 60 meters tall, has a very unique feature.

Behind the waterfall, an immense cave allows visitors to walk behind and around the waterfall. Seeing the waterfall from its back side, listening to it echoing against the walls of the cave, is an experience to remember. Bring a rain jacket!

Please note that in the core of winter, the path behind the waterfall is impassable and will be closed.

Skógafoss even got more famous after being featured in Game of Thrones. The legend says that a giant has hidden a treasure behind the waterfall, but we will let your guide tell you everything about it!

3. Sólheimajökull: Private Glacier Hike

Ready for an Adventure? Let your guide gear you up with harness, helmet, crampons and ice axe.

Once you are ready, you will walk about 15-20 minutes all the way to the edge of the glacier of Sólheimajökull. There, your guide will tell you everything you need to know about safety and approach on the glacier. When you are all briefed, it is time to go and spend about one hour on ice.

This hike is a private tour, so your guide will be able to take you away from the biggest crowds, and make you feel like you have the glacier all to yourself.

4. Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

Reynisfjara, also known by the fans of Game of Thrones as the location of the Dragon Glass Cave, is the most beautiful beach in Iceland. Rich in unique geological features, particularly the immense basaltic columns touching the ever-agitated sea.

But Reynisfjara is more than that. In the summertime, the cliffs over the beach transforms into the nesting ground of thousands and thousands of migratory birds, including the world famous puffin. Every year, they come from the ocean to diverse cliffs around Iceland to breed and nest.
