Day One: Golden Circle and Farm Lunch

This day follows the itinerary of our day tour Golden Circle and Farm Lunch.

Spend a wonderful day discovering all the wonders of the most popular tour in Iceland: The Golden Circle. We will begin by diving right into both icelandic nature and culture, when we visit the National Park of Thingvellir. Our journey then takes us to a hot spring ,which flows inside the lake of Laugarvatn.

Now it's time to eat something. And today, we start with dessert. In the dairy farm: Efsti-Dalur, you will taste the best ice-cream in Iceland!

We are now heading to the waterfall of Gullfoss. A gigantic waterfall with a name that means "Golden waterfall". It gave its name to the Golden Circle route. Our next stop will be Strokkur, a geyser gushing every 5 to 10 minutes. Strokkur is the little brother of Geysir, the (now dormant) geyser that named all the geysers in the world.

Finally lunch time, that we will have in the tomato farm of Friðheimar. Inside of a greenhouse, we will enjoy a delicious meal, surrounded by tomato plants and bumblebees. How do we manage to grow tomatoes all year round in Iceland? Come and find out!

You will spend the night in Reykjavík.

Day Two: South Coast Highlights

This day follows the itinerary of our day tour South Coast Highlights.

From Reykjavík to Vík, the Icelandic South Coast is a true land of wonders. Between glaciers and volcanoes, one can feel the real essence of Iceland, and the power of its contrasts.

You will see the most famous and most impressive waterfalls in the country: Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. You will get close to the glacier of Sólheimajökull, an ash covered glacier. And finally, you will walk on the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, where its sea pillars and basaltic columns will leave you speechless.

If you have been watching the series "Game of Thrones", you will for sure recognize many sites of the South Coast.

You will spend the night in Reykjavík.

Day Three: The Snæfellsnes Peninsula

This day follows the itinerary of our day tour Snæfellsnes wonders.

Discover the peninsula of Snæfellsnes, often nicknamed Iceland in miniature. All the different types of landscapes that you can find in Icelandic nature is condensed on this small bit of land.

We will visit Kirkjufell mountain, most photographed mountain in Iceland, and a filming location of Game of Thrones. We will then head to the black sand beach of Djúpalónssandur, where rusty remains of shipwreck can be seen scattered around the beach. Finally, we will discover the spectacular shoreline of Arnarstapi. Your guide will also hand-pick two additional visits.

You will be cruising in the Snæfellsjökull National Park, which bears the name of the glacier on top of the central volcano located at the tip of the peninsula. This beautiful mountain culminates way above all others. This volcano is the one where takes place the original story (written by Jules Verne) of "Journey to the center of the earth".

You will spend the night in Reykjavík.

Suggestions of activities

The first two days are not short of possibilities for you to personalize your tour. From relaxation in hot springs to snorkeling between two continents, we offer plenty of options to make your trip unforgettable.

Activities for Day One:

What would you think about going for a dip? There actually are two possibilities to do so. First, in the National Park of Thingvellir, in the Silfra fissure. There, in a dry suit, you can snorkel between two tectonic plates, with a visibility up to a hundred meters. If you prefer warm water, why not go to Fontana Spa, and soak into their hot geothermal pools?

And if you are craving for more stunning landscapes, we can add a visit to Kerið on our way back. Please note that adding those activities may temper with the initial program.

Activities for Day Two:

On the cultural side of things, we highly recommend visiting both the Lava Center, an interactive exhibition about volcanism in Iceland, and the Lava Show, where you get to see real molten lava poured down in front of you.

If adventure is more of your priority, why not follow us on a private glacier hike on the glacier of Sólheimajökull? Our professionnal guides will gear you up and bring you on a glacier exploration. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
